DUNFERMLINE eatery Dhoom has served up more success by securing a prestigious accolade.
The New Row Indian Streatery has scooped an AA Rosette award for Culinary Excellence and is the currently the only restaurant in Fife to have such recognition.
Owner and chef Prasad Dhaneshwar was delighted with the latest honour.
"It is a big thing," he said. "It is all done by mystery dining and they only go to around 10 per cent of restaurants in the UK.
"It is definitely putting Dunfermline on the culinary map.
"We feel humbled and blessed to have received this prestigious award. We can't thank enough our wonderful team at Dhoom-Indian Streatery who worked really hard for us to reach where we are today."
The AA Rosette award dates back to 1956 and was the first nationwide scheme for assessing the quality of food served by restaurants and hotels.
The team of inspectors have an unrivalled wealth of experience in assessing quality throughout the UK so receiving the award is a huge achievement.
The Rosette is an award which is awarded annually on a rising scale based on a meal visit by one or more AA inspectors.
Commenting on Dhoom, the AA inspector said: “A wide range of imaginative Indian cuisine.”
