The 'Friends of Pittencrieff Park' have organised a plant sale in Pittencrieff Park outside the hothouses for Sunday, June 4.
Photographed preparing some of the many cuttings and plants that will be available to buy, the group are very much looking forward to the event.
Harry Dunn, who chairs the group, is hoping for a big turnout, and explained that profits from the sale will go towards their ongoing work.
"We meet every Monday and Thursday mornings and have a number of horticultural projects that we work on throughout the park," he said. "At the moment we are concentrating on the Sensory Garden on the site where the very popular paddling pools used to be situated."
The group currently comprises of around 30 volunteers and are happy for others to join them:
Harry added: "If anyone would like to help in our work we'd welcome them with open arms. Just pop down any Monday or Thursday morning or speak to us at the plant sale in the Glen. We look on it as a great privilege to be able to help keep Pittencrieff Park such a beautiful location, much loved by the people of Dunfermline."
The plant sale will take place between 11am and 2pm.
