A DUNFERMLINE jogging group have marked their 20th anniversary with a landmark scavenger hunt.
The '20 Landmarks in Dunfermline' scavenger hunt, which took place on Wednesday, May 10, was held as a part of month-long celebrations for the club.
Participants jogged through the city and spotted sites such as William Wallace’s Well, Stuart Adamson's memorial bench and Andrew Carnegie's birthplace before heading back to the Glen Tavern for a much deserved slice of birthday cake.
Jog leader Lana McInnes said: “How scenic and historic is our city? Fantastic to see so many members out in the sunshine. Well done everyone."
Over the years, the club has helped its members gain the confidence and enthusiasm they needed to enter many races from 5k parkruns to marathons and even some ultras. None of this could have been possible without the efforts of the enthusiastic and friendly jog leaders who turn up each week, rain or shine, and give up their time to encourage and look after the wellbeing of the members.

Derek Hunter, chairperson and jog leader, added: “We would openly encourage anyone to come along and give our group a try, without any fear of judgment, we are a totally inclusive group who welcome new people no matter what ability they have.”
