A DUNFERMLINE fitness studio has been named Gym of the Year in the Scottish Health and Fitness Awards.
Studio-X won in the 100-500 members category at the event in Glasgow earlier this month.
Owner Lisa Gibson said: "We were amazed when they read our name out.
"It's such a big section and that was it wittled down to 10 in the funal.
"We were in it last year and won the innovation award.
"Because we won last year we didn't think we would this year.
"Maybe it is just that we are quite unique with our aerial parties, it is unlike anything in this area, people do travel to us.
"It is quite a welcoming environment.
"It was a great title to win, I want to thank all our instructors and customers".
Lisa says Studio-X is always looking to pick up on the newest trends.
The gym will soon introduce a pole and aerial silk infusion class, with other instructors currently undertaking more surprise courses.
Both Lisa and Studio-X instructor Jen Turner were finalists in the Teacher of the Year category at the recent Dunfermline Press Community Champion Awards.
