BUDDING filmmakers are being sought to take part in this year's Outwith Festival.
The Dunfermline arts and live music event is taking place in September and organisers are looking for a variety of short films to be screened.
The Outwith Short Film Festival will take place on Sunday, September 10, at Fire Station Creative.
Each entry should have a running time of between one and 15 minutes and any genre will be considered.
Those selected will be able to attend the event and meet other filmmakers.
Films should be submitted by July 28 via FilmFreeway at a cost of £12 or £8 for students.
Entries submitted by any other means will not be considered.

The team of volunteers behind Outwith Festival were the recipients of this year's Community Champion Judges' Award for their efforts to "promote, nurture and encourage local talent, while at the same time, raising the profile of Dunfermline and celebrating its cultural heritage."
The six day festival will run from Wednesday, September 6, until Sunday, September 10, and offers a huge variety of arts with film, visual art, and classical music as well as food and foraging events.
