THE Garvock Filling Station could be in for an overhaul if plans are approved for its refurbishment.
Plans submitted on behalf of Penny Petroleum would see multiple changes made to the Halbeath Road petrol station, including below-ground work.
If approved, alterations would be made to the shop itself to include a drive-thru collection kiosk, while the existing canopy and jet wash station would be removed to make room for a new canopy, with associated forecourt works to the surface and three new islands with six pumps and one offset fill point.
One disabled parking bay will also be created at the front of the forecourt area with a new access ramp and a new building entrance area to create better access for customers.
There will be nine parking spaces created at the rear of the filling station, two staff parking bays, two electric vehicle charging points, three covered jet wash points, one car wash, and a vac, air and water tower with adequate space.
Below-ground fuel tanks and fuel lines are also to be installed.
Forecourt areas will be resurfaced, drainage will be replaced and updated, and new signage will be installed.
