A POPULAR Dunfermline pub has re-opened following a six-figure investment with a new menu and 'prosecco table'.
Seven Kings, on Bridge Street, closed last month to undergo a significant refresh, featuring major refurbishments to its interior and outdoor areas.
Internally, the overhaul includes new decor and comfortable furnishing, with the layout of the pub, owned by Greene King, altered to create separate sections and cosy seating areas.
A six-chair 'prosecco table' has also been added which is hoped to be a hit with customers.
The bar area has been upgraded to increase efficiency, maximising the existing space with more service space and extra tills.
Additionally, a new cocktail bar area can be sectioned off using bifold doors to create a private function room, available to hire for birthdays, work events and other social events.
The pub's sport offering has been upgraded with 10 TV screens and now three sky boxes while the kitchen menu has maintained its delicious range of pub classics, whilst adding a variety of small plates.
There will be steak nights on Thursdays and traditional roast dinners on Sunday, while breakfast will now also be served seven-days-a-week between 10am and 1pm.
A new cocktail menu, launched this week, includes Mojito Spritz, Passion Fruit Punch and Turbo Bellini, as well as a non-alcoholic Elderflower No-jito.
Seven Kings is dog-friendly both inside in non-carpeted areas and outside.
The pub is hosting a family fun day on July 30 in partnership with Dunfermline Athletic, following a sponsorship deal.
There will be entertainment and family fun as well as special visits from Pars players and a league trophy appearance.
Amanda Gerlack, General Manager of the Seven Kings said: “Whether you’re looking to catch up with friends or enjoy the live sports and events, all are welcome at the Seven Kings.
“We’re a very busy pub and post-refurbishment, we hope to be even busier, which meant our main focus for the renovation was making the pub easier to navigate and speed up our service.
“The revamp has brought a revived atmosphere to the pub, and we’re confident that with our improved facilities we’ll be proud to offer our guests an even better drinking, dining and social experience.”
The pub is currently recruiting for a number of jobs and anyone who wishes to apply should email their CV to 3980@greeneking.co.uk.
