KELTY HEARTS have bolstered their squad ahead of tomorrow's League One opener by landing Dundee United's Lewis O'Donnell on loan.
The 18-year-old, a deep-lying midfielder, has joined Michael Tidser's side until January, and could feature in their fixture at Montrose this weekend.
A product of the Tannadice club's youth academy, O'Donnell was handed his first-team debut by Tangerines boss, Jim Goodwin, in their recent pre-season friendly with Carlisle United.
That followed what United say was "a lengthy spell on the sidelines with injury", and he has gone on to further feature in warm-up games with East Fife and Queen of the South.

O'Donnell has now joined Kelty in search of first team football, and adds to an extensive rebuild undertaken by player / boss Tidser since he took up the post in the close season.
