DUNFERMLINE'S Outwith Festival has secured £1,000 in sponsorship funds from a global health and safety firm.
Quensh Specialists Ltd. is based in Aberdeenshire and started in the energy sector before expanding across health, safety, environment, quality, ESG and HR consultancy.
Its Commercial Director, Iain Bruce, said: "With some of our team living in Dunfermline it is great to see first-hand how the festival has grown over the years and how much of a contribution it is making to the community.
"The Outwith Festival is a fantastic week, providing a platform for talent across the country, whether in music, art, comedy and so much more.
"At Quensh we are passionate about supporting grassroot community activities, and with the Outwith Festival being volunteer led, we are delighted to play our part in supporting the festival".
Volunteer Louise Reid has been working hard to seek sponsorship for Outwith.
She said: “We’re very grateful to Quensh, the first private sector company to provide financial support for Outwith.
"Funding from organisations such as Carnegie Dunfermline Trust and Fife Council is vital for this annual music and arts festival to go ahead but we’re also very keen to secure funding from the private sector.
"I have been speaking to a range of commercial companies including local businesses to seek sponsorship".
Outwith will run a programme of events, including live music, art, theatre and more, this year from Wednesday, September 6, until Sunday, September 10.
Tickets are available at outwithfestival.co.uk.
