THE VIEW will be bringing an "intimate" album launch show to Dunfermline.
The Dundee band announced their new album, Exorcism of Youth, earlier this year and will be launching it in a series of small shows across the country next month.
Kyle Falconer, Kieren Webster and Pete Reilly will be taking to the stage at PJ Molloys on September 5 The performance is expected to last around 45 minutes and will be "stripped back" and "intimate".
The band's 2007 single Same Jeans shot to number three in the UK charts and became their most notable hit.
The View recorded their new album in Granada, Spain with a Grammy Award winning producer.
The record is said to combine the "raucous energy" of the band's early work with "some poignant slow-burners drawn from personal experience".
Tickets to the album launch are still available from Assai Records.
