THE Dalgety Bay and Hillend Gala committee have announced the return of their much loved Gala Warriors fun run.
Last held in 2019, the last two Gala Warriors events were sell-outs, and the committee are hoping that this one will prove to be just as popular.
People of all ages are welcome to take part in the fun run which features obstacles to be overcome along the way.
All participants will be provided with a white Gala Warriors t-shirt, coloured powder, a gala cup and a medal for taking part.
A range of obstacles will be in place throughout the run, such as a welly toss, a slip'n'slide and the 'tractor tire flip'.
Due to the nature of the fun run, participants are encouraged to wear appropriate footwear and old clothes, to run safely and to bring water along.
On the day, participants must register before running. The registration tent will be open from 12.30pm.
There will be four sets of races, one at 1pm, which has been reserved for young participants and families; then 1.30pm, 2pm and 2.30pm.
Diamond Diners will be located at the finish line with hot food on sale. At 3.15pm a community tug-o-war will take place to finish off the event.
The event is priced at £8 per person if booking by Friday, September 1, or £10 per person after that.
Slots can be booked by messaging the Dalgety Bay and Hillend Gala Facebook page or by texting 07523 424 757.
