THE family of a little girl who was killed on a road in Townhill say she was "looking down on us" to make a fun day dedicated to her a success.
Robyn Knox, from Cardenden, was just three years old when she was hit by a car on the village's Main Street in August 2020.
Those close to her have have since raised money to help others whose children are unwell or have passed away.
This has taken place in the form of a month-long sponsored walk and a family fun day, which was held on Saturday.
Annilie Muller, who helps to organise the event, said it was "absolutely brilliant" and that "all the kids had the best time".
She told the Press: "The day overall ran smoothly a little hiccup at the start but we would like to thank Crossgates Juniors Football Team for accommodating us after us both having the park booked.
"The day over all was absolutely brilliant and Robyn sure did look down on us to give us the weather we got.
"Shaun Philp, our singer, was a great hit and had the crowd dancing in their seats!
"All the kids had the best time from the dinosaurs to the bouncy castles they absolutely loved it.
"A massive thank you and shout out to our sponsors this year without them the day wouldn’t have been what it was."
All money raised will go towards "helping hand boxes" which will be given to hospitals for families in need of extra support.
They could have recently lost a child or have a child in long term care.
Items will include things which would have benefited Robyn's family.
Annilie added: "A family fun day filled with smiling faces, ice creams, hot dogs and general fun all round.
"It’s was heart-warming to see so many people there to support Remembering Robyn and have a good day out.
"We look forward to getting planning next years event."
