A DUNFERMLINE theatre company will be bringing Andrew Lloyd Webber's iconic musical, The Phantom of the Opera, to life next month.
The stage is set and the cast is ready to welcome West Fifers to the audience of their historic performance this October at the Carnegie Hall in Dunfermline.
Promising to be a dazzling display of musical theatre, well-known local performer and a founding member of Limelight Productions, Bobby Mitchell will be leading the cast as the Phantom himself.
He said: "The role of The Phantom is one that, as an amateur performer, you never think you will ever have the opportunity to perform. I'm genuinely still pinching myself that I'll be performing this part in this show in just a few weeks’ time."

Joining Bobby are two remarkable performers, Nicola Brown and Brandon Lindsay, each bringing their own unique flair to the production.
Nicola, hailing from Kirkcaldy, brings her professional theatre experience to the role of Christine Daae. She previously graced the West End Production of "Fiddler on the Roof" in the role of Chava before the pandemic temporarily halted live performances.
Nicola shares her deep connection to "Phantom" and the role of Christine, explaining: "Phantom is a musical that I was literally born into. My mum used to play it constantly when she was pregnant with me, and I suppose that is why I was destined to fall in love with the musical.
"Now, having this opportunity to finally fulfil my dream with Limelight has me literally pinching myself."
Brandon, originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, and now residing in Rosyth, brings a wealth of professional experience to his portrayal of Raoul.
Notably, he performed the role in the world tour of 'Phantom' in 2016.
Reflecting on his journey from touring professionally to settling in Scotland, Brandon shared: "Having the opportunity to perform 'Phantom' with Limelight is like getting the best of both worlds for me now."
The show will run from October 3-7. Tickets are now available and can be purchased by visiting the OnFife website or by calling 01383 602303.
