THE Inner Wheel Club of Dunfermline has appointed its longest-serving member as its new president.
Wendy Spence, who lives in Crossford, has been in the organisation for 42 years has already held the role on two occasions, Her third term of office comes as the Inner Wheel, which helps local and international charities, prepares to celebrate its 100th anniversary next January.
Married to Bill, Wendy has a daughter Sue, son-in-law Mark and two granddaughters.
She presided at her first meeting this week when the group welcomed guest speaker, Dunfermline Rotary president Alan Condie who gave a talk outlining his plans for the Rotary for the year ahead.
