A 30-year-old woman ended up behind bars after kicking a police officer during an incident at the Queen Margaret Hospital.
Lauren Francis, of High Street, Kirkcaldy, appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
She admitted that on 27th September at Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline, she assaulted a female police constable by throwing a can of juice at her and kicking her.

Defence solicitor Alexander Flett said: “She says that she was at the hospital because she wanted to be assessed but was told that couldn’t happen.
"She was then waiting for a bus.”
Sheriff Garry Sutherland deferred sentencing until 18th October and bail was granted.
