A slip road off the M90 near Dunfermline will close for a night this week to allow investigation work to take place.
Bear Scotland will close the northbound junction 2a slip road at the Halbeath Interchange, which links the M90 with the A92 to Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes, on Friday (October 13) from 8.30pm until 6am so the condition of the route can be assessed.
A diversion route will be in place directing traffic via the Junction 3 northbound off-slip and the A92. This diversion will add approximately two minutes and 0.3 miles to affected journeys.

Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland’s South East Network Manager, said: “These coring investigation works will allow us to assess the condition of this slip road in advance of future resurfacing.
“The closure will take place overnight and the diversion is a short one, so we do not expect this to cause significant disruption.”
