An enthusiastic new landlord is being sought in a bid to reopen an Inverkeithing pub.
The Central Bar, on the town's High Street, closed its doors at the end of January this year, but Admiral Taverns is now seeking someone to take over running the premises.
Admiral has outlined the type of tenant they would be looking for to take over the pub, stating: “This site would ideally suit an energetic and community-spirited licensee who can combine the weekend potential of this site, as well as drive daytime trade to suit this busy high street."
It says it would be interested in attracting an individual or couple with local knowledge who can put their own ideas, attract customers from further afield, have a strong marketing plan and have the desire to grow the business, making it the “go to” pub for the local community.
The pub has a large indoor space with plenty seating, operating on a one bar system. It is also equipped for live music events and small functions.
Ceri Radford, Head of Recruitment and Operations Support at Admiral Taverns, said: “We have some brilliant opportunities across Scotland for passionate and enthusiastic individuals or teams who are interested in running their own pub.
"You don’t necessarily need any experience either - at Admiral you have a wealth of support and knowledge to maximise your pub’s potential."
