THE owners of a Rosyth firm have been named on the 2023 LDC Top 50 list.
Mark Scott and Tony Ottley, founded Bella & Duke, a raw pet food subscription and delivery service, back in 2016. Now, just seven years later, they have been named among the Most Ambitious Business Leaders in Scotland.
Created by investment partner LDC, part of Lloyds Banking Group, and supported by The Times, this year’s programme received entries of the highest calibre and surpassed the expectations of the judging panel.
Tony and Mark's business was one of just five in Scotland named in the awards and they are "incredibly proud" to have received the recognition.
Mark Scott, CEO at Bella & Duke, said: “We are honoured to be listed amongst some brilliant businesses in the LDC Top 50 most ambitious business leaders.
"Since starting Bella & Duke with Tony back in 2016 it has been a long but incredibly rewarding experience seeing our vision grow year on year.
"This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work all of our team do each day to help us on our mission to do right by our pets and give them the healthy, happy and long lives they deserve.
"We are grateful for our loyal community of members that have been with us at every step of the way sharing the stories of their pets’ journey on raw feeding.
"This marks another major milestone in our journey that’s only just beginning and we’re tremendously excited to see what the future holds.”
They were recognised at a celebratory event at BAFTA in London on Wednesday, October 18.
Tony Ottley, director at Bella & Duke said: “Our team is what makes us, we are incredibly proud to be named in the LDC Top 50 most ambitious business leaders, none of which would be possible without our team.
"We always strive to be the best we can and our vision centres around doing right by our pets, and helping our customers give their pets healthy and long lives.
"This award is our testament to the ongoing commitment that we have for our mission.”
Since 2018, The LDC Top 50 has received more than 3,000 nominations and celebrated more than 500 business leaders, shining a spotlight on the remarkable success stories of medium-sized businesses.
