A Dunfermline drug driver kept going after badly damaging his car by crashing into a barrier.
At Dunfermline Sheriff Court, 44-year-old David Milne, of Pilmuir Place, admitted offences committed on April 3 last year.
On the A90, the Queensferry Crossing, Queensferry Road, Carnegie Drive and Pilmuir Street, Dunfermline, he drove a car carelessly, failed to maintain proper control of the vehicle, swerved into another lane nearly striking another vehicle, then collided with the central reservation causing damage to his car.
He thereafter continued to drive the vehicle when it was in a dangerous condition.
A rear tyre was completed deflated and a front tyre was extensively damaged and partially detached from the wheel.
He also failed to comply with a red traffic light while a pedestrian was crossing the road.
He was driving while over the limit for drugs.
His reading was 19 microgrammes of cocaine per litre of blood, the limit being 10 microgrammes. He also had a reading of 620 microgrammes of benzoylecgonine per litre of blood, the limit being 50 microgrammes.
Sheriff Susan Duff called for reports and Milne will be sentenced on November 22. A temporary driving ban was imposed until then.
