The Kingdom Group has announced the appointment of a new development director.
Tricia Hill is joining The Kingdom Group from Scottish Canals where she is currently head of placemaking. Tricia has over 15 years of experience in leading large-scale mixed tenure and redevelopment programmes in both the housing association and local authority sectors.
“I am extremely happy to be joining the Kingdom Group and can’t wait to get started. Kingdom is an organisation that is well known and well respected within the sector and also more broadly," she said.
"It takes an innovative and progressive approach to new build and regeneration and that, in particular, is something that resonates strongly with me. I understand the importance of place and community and the role high-quality homes play.”
In the past, Tricia has led and delivered new-build and regeneration projects in Edinburgh and across Scotland, with a focus on creating sustainable communities.
Tricia added: “I am excited to continue my work building and enhancing communities to make lasting changes in the lives of our customers as well as shaping Kingdom’s ongoing development programme, its employability project, Kingdom Works, and the Fife Care & Repair service.”
Tom Barclay, Kingdom Group chief executive, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Tricia Hill to the Kingdom Group as our new Development Director. We have ambitious plans to build around 2,000 high-quality affordable homes over the next 5 years. Homes that will provide the foundations for new and growing communities across the central belt.
"At the Kingdom Group our mission is to deliver more than a home and Tricia’s experience will help us achieve that as we continue to focus on the genuinely life-changing work that we do.”
