Emergency services were called to the scene of a crash on the M90 motorway near Halbeath this evening.
Police and fire services were alerted shortly after 5.30pm, and there was major traffic congestion in the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 5.40pm on Monday, 30 October, to a report of a two vehicle crash on the M90, northbound, junction 1B, Inverkeithing.
“Emergency services attended and recovery is being arranged."
Traffic Scotland reported the incident had been cleared shortly after 7.30pm, and that traffic was returning to normal.
