A motorcylist has been reported after being caught travelling 30mph over the speed limit on a Fife road.
Fife Road Police clocked the motorcyclist going 61mph in a 30mph limit and have warned of the dangers of increased stopping distances when speeding.
Sharing the incident on Facebook, Police Scotland Fife wrote: "FifeRP stopped this motorcyclist for speeding in a 30mph limit. Stopping distance increases exponentially with increasing speed.
"This chart shows that double the speed takes three times the distance to stop. Rider reported to @COPFS."
They also shared the penalties for speeding, which can be found here.
