Dunfermline Abbey is set to host Christmas concerts by the Band of HM Royal Marines Scotland.
Organised by the Rotary Club of Dunfermline, concerts will take place on Wednesday, December 6, and Thursday, December 7.
The band's concerts have become something of a Christmas tradition, with tickets usually selling fast.
This year the band will be joined by pupils from Limekilns Primary and St John’s RC Primary School, who will meet the band for rehearsals at their base at HMS Caledonia.
John Haxton, organiser of the concerts, said: “People really see this as part of their Christmas. They’re wonderful concerts. You’ve got first-class musicians playing seasonal music, and some primary school kids really singing their hearts out.
"The Abbey is just such a perfect place to have a concert like this. And at the end of the day, it’s all for charity!
“The concerts are a wee bit earlier this year due to the band having extra commitments, but that’s just how it is. It will get everyone in the Christmas spirit even earlier!”
The concerts on December 6 and 7 start at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £15 and are available from the Carnegie Hall on 01383 602302 or Sew Yarn Crafty on 01383 723995.
