Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museum will be hosting a Christmas ghost story this festive season.
The story, The Unplayed Keys, was written by Jonathan Cairney who will also be reading it on the evening of Thursday, December 7. The story this year comes after the success of last year’s story, The Shuttle and the Boar.
Each year the story ties in with the history of Dunfermline in some way, and this year’s story also has a musical element to it. The Unplayed Keys follows Ian Strachan, who buys an old piano in the hopes that it will save the institute he manages. However, he unexpectedly brings someone else with it.
The reading will begin at 7pm on the night and it will last for approximately 45 minutes. The event is suitable for those ten years of age and older.
Anyone who wants to purchase a ticket can do so through the museum’s website, the Facebook page, or paper tickets can be acquired from the front desk at the museum.
