A DUNFERMLINE assistant Scout leader has been rewarded for more than a decade of outstanding service.
John Stevens, who helps the 44th Fife St. Leonard's Scout Group, was presented with the Award for Merit Medal by Group Scout Leader Tom Mitchell.

This award is given for outstanding service and implies keen, conscientious, imaginative and dedicated service over a sustained period of at least 12 years.
A spokesperson for the group added: "John is an excellent Scouter and this is thoroughly deserved!"
