KINGDOM Housing Group's Winter Gathering saw families with kids of all ages enjoy an underwater adventure at Deep Sea World in North Queensferry.
The biannual Gathering events are a cornerstone of the Kingdom Group’s customer engagement strategy and give customers the opportunity to speak to a broad range of staff from across the Kingdom Group in a relaxed and informal setting.
Almost 400 guests from across Fife, Clackmannanshire and Perth enjoyed the free day out at Scotland’s National Aquarium and made amazing memories with their friends and families.
Max Scotto, Kingdom’s Lead Customer Engagement Officer organised the event, said: “Kingdom’s Gathering events have gone from strength to strength over the last few years. Often luxuries like family days out are the first things to be cut when faced with tough cost-of-living decisions, so I’m really proud that we’re able to offer events like this to our customers.
"Kingdom’s mission is to provide ‘more than a home’ and having the opportunity to chat with our customers and showcase all of our additional services, such as money and energy advice, in an informal environment is really valuable.”
Many customers also took the opportunity to speak to staff from across the Kingdom Group, learning about the extensive range of free support and advice services available including energy and money advice and Kingdom’s own in-house employability project, Kingdom Works.
Information was also available from Kingdom’s Health & Safety team who provided advice and free products to prevent crime during the long winter nights, and staff from Asset Management were available to help with any repair queries.
Bart Maroszek, a Kingdom tenant who attended the Winter Gathering and said, "It was nice to get away together with my boys.
"Normally, I wouldn't go out alone with them due to my illness, but I felt at ease knowing there was going to be friendly staff from Kingdom Housing Association looking after us in case something happened to me.
"It was also good to get to know more tenants from different areas. The more of these events we have, the more benefit for tenants."
As well as these free events, the Kingdom Group offers a range of opportunities for customers to be involved with shaping the services they receive.
