A housing association will be running another Construction Academy this month to offer people practical construction training.
Kingdom Works, which is part of the Kingdom Group, will be running the academy starting Monday, December 11.
The practical training includes CSCS health and safety training and test (card), asbestos awareness, abrasive wheels, manual handling, and working at heights.
To take part, candidates must be unemployed and between the ages of 19 and 24.

Lynne Dunn, Kingdom Works manager, said: “Our Mission at the Kingdom Group is to provide more than a home and the Kingdom Works Construction Academy is a brilliant example of how we do that, supporting our customers and communities with much more than bricks and mortar.
“Set up 15 years ago, Kingdom Works has supported over 8,000 unemployed people, delivering accredited training to more than 5,000 people, and helping over 4,000 people into work.”
Kingdom Works can also support candidates as they market themselves to potential employers and help them access practical work experience.
Anyone interested in the academy should fill out this enquiry form.
