FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a "large bonfire" at Dunfermline Cemetery on Friday night.
Crews were called to the incident shortly before 9.30pm when smoke could be seen rising near to garages at the cemetery on Robertson Road.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 9.20pm on Friday, December 1, to reports of a fire within the cemetery off Robertson Road in Dunfermline.

"Operations Control mobilised one appliance to the scene and firefighters extinguished a large bonfire.
“Crews left the scene at 9.54pm after ensuring the area was made safe.”
