FIFE'S first Afro-Caribbean grocery shop has opened its doors in Dunfermline.
AYT Foods was officially opened on Saturday morning and the celebrations included a blessing from Fr Syriac Palakudiyil, parish priest of the nearby St Margaret's RC Church.
As previously reported in the Press, the store was established by Temitope Ajayi-Salami – who hails from Nigeria and now lives in Dunfermline – after she became fed up of having to travel to Glasgow for her native food.

Based at 24 Bridge Street, the shop offers a range of food and drink.
Temitope was delighted to have the business up and running.
"The opening went really well," she said. "We had a lot of people coming in and we made a lot of sales. People were excited about the store – not just Africans.
"Fr Syriac, who is the priest at St Margaret's, came along and blessed the shop."
