The Hillend Tavern has been awarded Kingdom of Fife CAMRA's pub of the year 2024.
As previously reported in The Press, The Hillend Tavern recently secured the Pub of the Year title from the Scotland and Northern Ireland branch of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale).
CAMRA is a consumer organisation which aims to have quality real ale, cider, perry, and successful pubs in communities.
Michael Henderson, owner of The Hillend Tavern, said that he was “delighted" with the latest award.

The pub's commitment to providing a high-quality range of ales, along with a warm and inviting atmosphere, has earned it the admiration of both locals and visitors. The award was presented at the Fife CAMRA Social on Saturday, January 6, at The Hillend Tavern.
Michael added that he thought the pub did so well because of “the beer, the staff, the customers, it’s a combination of all three".
"The customers keep coming along,” he said.
The Hillend Tavern, which is a venue for drinks and sports, is now looking forward to the Six Nations in February.
The next Kingdom of Fife CAMRA social event takes place at 1pm on Saturday, March 9 at The Crown Tavern, Kinghorn.
