THE Inner Wheel Club hosted the Rotary Club of Dunfermline last week for their annual joint Burns Supper.
The evening took place at the Garvock House Hotel on Thursday, January 18 and began with a welcome from Rotary President Alan Condie and Inner Wheel President Wendy Spence.
Piper, Donald McKay, then piped in the haggis before husband and wife team, Ian and Margaret Wilson, addressed it.
An eighty-strong audience was entertained by Rotarian Andrew Croxford who delivered the Immortal Memory, followed by Jack Wardell’s fabulous rendition of Holy Willie’s Prayer.
Toast to the Lassies was given by Bob Garmory and the Reply to the Laddies was given by his wife Inner Wheel member Anne Garmory.
Musical entertainment on the night was provided by Rotarian Keith McFarlane.
Margaret Steedman, club correspondent of the Inner Wheel Club of Dunfermline, added: "We feel extremely fortunate to have so much talent within our two clubs.
"This event has become one of the much-anticipated events in both the Inner Wheel and Rotary Club calendar."
