A main road in Rosyth has been closed after a man was found injured in the early hours of this morning.
Police Scotland said that King's Road and Albert Street will remain shut while they continue their investigations.
A post from the force said: "King’s Road and Albert Street in Rosyth are closed after a man was found injured.
"Officers were called around 5.45am and remain at the scene. Drivers are urged to use an alternative route."
Social media reported "loads of police" in the area, which has two primary schools, King's Road and Camdean, at the southern end.
In a message to parents and carers, Camdean PS said: "We are aware of an ongoing police incident affecting King's Road.
"Parents may need to park elsewhere and walk due to King's Road being closed. We understand this may make some children late.
"The school is open as normal. We are currently in talks with the bus company and will provide more information once we receive it."
