KING'S Road in Rosyth has re-opened but Albert Street remains closed off after a man was found injured in the early hours of this morning.
Police Scotland had initially closed both roads after the alarm was raised shortly before 6am.
King's Road, a main route through the town, has re-opened to traffic but Albert Street is still taped off, an ambulance attended and a police presence remains at the scene.
A statement earlier today from the force read: "King’s Road and Albert Street in Rosyth are closed after a man was found injured.
"Officers were called around 5.45am and remain at the scene. Drivers are urged to use an alternative route."
Social media had reported "loads of police" in the area, which has two primary schools, King's Road and Camdean, at the southern end.
The schools are open as normal.
