"Safety is our number one priority for our staff and customers, and we are assisting the police with their investigation into this incident."
In 2022, a Bay Travel bus in Blairhall had a brick thrown at it. As a result of that incident, the bus company withdrew the service.
And in November last year, Stagecoach temporarily withdrew evening services from the Izatt Avenue area of Dunfermline after a series of incidents where objects were thrown at buses.
Stagecoach currently have no plans to withdraw the service, however they will closely monitor the situation.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We have received a report of a vandalism to a bus in the Oakley area. Enquiries are at an early stage."
