Proposals for a £700,000 cycle path, which were put on hold following objections from local residents, will go on display tomorrow (Saturday, February 17) as part of a consultation exercise.
Concept designs for the Aberdour Road Active Travel Corridor, from its junction with Blacklaw Road to Hospital Hill, have been developed by Fife Council.
And they're now seeking views on plans which they hope will make Dunfermline more friendly for walking, wheeling and cycling.
The first of two drop-in events takes place at the Dell Farquharson Community Centre in Nethertown Broad Street tomorrow (Saturday) between 11am and 2pm.
A further opportunity to view the proposals will be offered on Aberdour Road, opposite Beanstalk Family Nurture Centre, on Thursday, February 29, between 4pm and 7pm.
Previous proposals put forward were met with objections, including concerns over road safety, the speed and volume of traffic on Aberdour Road, the impact on pedestrians and "perceived difficulties" in accessing driveways.
More information and the opportunity to take part in an online survey are available at the Aberdour Road Active Travel Corridor webpage.
