Two people were airlifted to safety this afternoon (Sunday, February 18) after the boat got stranded off the Fife coast near Culross.
An RNLI lifeboat from South Queensferry and an HM Coastguard helicopter were involved in the rescue.
A HM Coastguard spokesperson said: "Two people on a pleasure vessel were rescued after it became stuck on rocks in the Firth of Forth off Culross.

"The alarm was raised at about midday and the HM Coastguard search and rescue helicopter from Prestwick airlifted the two people safe and well to dry land.
"There was support from the RNLI's inshore lifeboat from South Queensferry and the South Queensferry Coastguard Rescue Team."
The rescue was witnessed by West Fife villages councillor Graeme Downie, who commented on social media that seeing an HM Coastguard helicopter being involved in a rescue near the shore at Culross was not something you saw every day.
He added: "I am told his propeller failed, but everyone is safe."
