A 17-year-old Dunfermline youth was caught with a smoke bomb near the football ground where a Fife derby was taking place.
The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on July 15 at Link Street, Kirkcaldy, he was in possession of a pyrotechnic, a red smoke bomb. The location is near Starks Park and the offence took place on the day of a Raith Rovers match against Dunfermline Athletic.
Sentencing had been deferred for good behaviour but the court heard the youth has another case being called in the next few weeks.
Sheriff Wylie Robertson deferred sentence further until June 12.
