A fundraiser held in memory of a beloved mother and grandmother has raised over £38,000 for NHS Hospice Fife.
As previously reported in the Press, Lynne Braisby passed away from cancer of the lung and liver in December 2022 at just 63 years old. Her sons, William and Fraser, and their father Billy, organised the charity event in her memory.
William is the vice-chairman of Dunfermline Athletic Business Club and Billy is vice-chairman of Dunfermline Athletic Football Club.

Lynne was cared for in Queen Margaret Hospice and the event in her memory was held on Saturday, February 17 at the Glen Pavilion.
A donation on the evening from the Mary Leishman Foundation helped raise over £38,000 for NHS Hospice Fife. Mary and Lynne were close friends, and Jim Leishman helped on the night, along with Dick Campbell who did an auction and raffle.
Up for grabs was a private dining experience for six, the opportunity for four players to tee off at Dundonald Links, and hospitality for two with exclusive seating next to dugouts at Aston Villa v Liverpool, among some other great prizes.
