A double 'Pub of the Year' winner in West Fife has been praised in the UK Parliament.
The Hillend Tavern has enjoyed success in the CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) awards, winning both the Scotland & Northern Ireland Pub of the Year and the Kingdom of Fife Pub of the Year titles.
It also reached the last 16 in the UK Pub of the Year.
These successes have now been recognised at Westminster, with Neale Hanvey, MP for Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath, and Douglas Chapman, MP for Dunfermline, sponsoring an Early Day Motion congratulating the Hillend Tavern on its achievements.
Richard Sutcliffe, Kingdom of Fife CAMRA press officer, said: “We would like to say a big thank you to Neale and Douglas for their endorsement of the Hillend Tavern's achievements, and congratulate Mikey Henderson and his team at the Hillend on this further recognition.”
The early day motion praises the Hillend Tavern for "its commitment to the provision of a quality beer product and service to the community and customers" and congratulates the pub on its award successes.
