THE dates for the 40th Aberdour Festival have been revealed.
The annual event will start on Friday, July 26 and run until Sunday, August 4.
Beach day will be held on July 27 with a range of other events and activities taking place across the festival.
Last year's event, which coincided with the 900th anniversary of St Fillan's church, featured a 10-day programme packed with music, talks, sport, dance, literature and visual arts - and another packed programme can be expected this year.

It began with the Aberdour ART Festival and popular pet show as well as entertainment provided in the Festival Marquee on Hawkcraig Road.
The festival parade saw the crowning of the royal party at Aberdour Castle before a parade along the High Street to the primary school for gala day.
A family ceilidh, village market, Donkey Brae Races, sports matches and more also took place.
