A Big Bully Walk will be taking place in Pittencrieff Park later this month.
As previously reported in the Press, XL bullies were banned in Scotland in February. This came after a series of attacks by these dogs across the United Kingdom.
The event is to show support for XL bullies and that their owners are standing by them. It is a chance for dog owners to show the public that their XL bullies are loving, loyal, and well-behaved dogs.
The ban on XL bullies is in two stages. The first stage, which is now in place, means that all canines of this type must always be muzzled and kept on a lead in public. It is also an offence to breed, exchange, sell, offer, advertise, or abandon these dogs.

The second stage takes place on August 1. From this date it will be illegal to own one of these dogs in Scotland without an exemption certificate or having applied for one to own the animal.
The Big Bully Walk will also mark one month since it will have been mandatory for the dogs to be kept on a lead and muzzled.
It will take place on Saturday, March 23 at 12pm.
