AVERAGE petrol and diesel prices rose across the UK last month, new statistics have shown.
The average UK price of unleaded petrol, according to the PetrolPrices website, reached just over £1.45 for the first time since December 6 last year.
This was a 3.4 per cent increase from a month ago.
Diesel drivers are also paying more than at the start of the year, with the average diesel price reaching over £154.5, a rise of 4.5 pence per litre during February.
In West Fife, many fuel outlets are still under the UK average price with the cheapest unleaded currently at £142.9 and the lowest price for diesel being £152.9.
The cheapest petrol stations for unleaded in Dunfermline and West Fife are:
