A much-loved clerical assistant at a Kelty school has been recognised with a Long Service Award.
The school, St Joseph’s RC Primary, honoured Nicci Cunningham at a special assembly in celebration of the 26 years she has worked at Fife Council.
Nicci, who began working for Fife Council in 1998, has been an invaluable member of staff.
To recognise all the hard work she does, pupils and staff at St Joseph’s, where she has worked for the past seven years, showed their appreciation by presenting her with the Fife Long Service Award.
As well as presenting her with a small token of their appreciation in the form of a gift, the children performed a special song, ‘You are an Inspiration’ by Fischy Music.
Acting Headteacher Erika Anderson added: “It has been a pleasure to work alongside Nicci for the past seven years.
"Her dedication, attention to detail, approachability and organisational skills are instrumental to the effective running of school systems.
"I do not know what we would do without her.”
