A DUNFERMLINE eatery has been named on The Times' Top 100 Scottish Restaurants for 2024.
Jack 'O' Bryan's on Chalmers Street ranked number eight out of the 24 Best Restaurants that cover Central Scotland.
The popular restaurant is owned by Bryan & Michelle Coghill, and sees Bryan, a chef for 38 years, head up the kitchen with 23-year-old son Jack, also a chef – and his soon-to-be wife, Sarah, who covers the front of house with future mother-in-law Michelle.
Jack told the Press: "We are delighted to be listed in Pete Irvine’s Top 100 of the Best Scottish Restaurants to try in 2024, and particularly to be number eight in the 24 Best Restaurants that cover the Central Scotland region.
"It's fantastic to be listed amongst leading Michelin establishments, such as Restaurant Andrew Fairlie, and we’re especially pleased with Pete Irvine going out of his way to say that he thinks we are by far the best restaurant between Edinburgh and the East Neuk - that is amazing praise!
"Needless to say, this is great news for the City of Dunfermline as we continue to put it on the culinary map of Scotland!"
