THREE West Fife bars have been recognised at the 2024 Best Bar None Scotland Awards.
The Seven Kings and the Guildhall and Linen Exchange in Dunfermline, and the Gothenburg in Rosyth, all received Gold Awards at the ceremony for going "above and beyond to help deliver a safer night time economy".
Gary Kenhard, the national coordinator for the Best Bar None Scotland Scheme, told the Press: "The Best Bar None Scotland scheme brings a number of benefits to licensed premises that demonstrate how seriously they take customer safety, care and service quality.
"The scheme helps to enhance working relationships with key agencies such as Police Scotland, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Local Authorities.
"The focus for Best Bar None Scotland is for consumers to have the ability to choose a venue, which demonstrates a commitment to the customer experience by investing in their staff training and environment and collaborating with trade partners to champion best practice.
"Having read the independent assessments of the Seven Kings, the Gothenburg and the Guildhall and Linen Exchange, it is clear these premises go above and beyond to help deliver a safer night time economy.
"The award must be earned, it is not a popularity contest and is therefore a testament to the efforts of all staff associated with these premises. They should be rightly proud."
