Local a cappella group Opus 8 will be performing a spring concert in Limekilns Parish Church this Saturday.
The choir has been singing as a group for more than 35 years, and still has three of its founding members. These are Robert Gardner, musical director, Derek Burns, and Morna Fleming.
The group rehearse weekly in Culross and have performed across Fife, as well as in Edinburgh, and toured in Amsterdam and Denmark.

There are currently nine members with sopranos Diane Ashton and Morna Fleming, mezzo Heather Thompson, altos Janine Brodie and Ros Timperley, tenors Derek Burns and Peter Barnett and basses Robert Gardner and David Boggon.
On the evening of the performance, Opus 8 will be joined by two members of the New Edinburgh Orchestra: Joanna Duncan, the leader of the orchestra, and the choir's own Peter Barnett, who will play violin interludes.
The performance will take place on Saturday, March 23, at 7.30pm, in Limekilns Parish Church.
