Crossford Primary School emerged victorious at the hotly contested West Fife Primary Schools Quiz held last Wednesday at the Oakley campus.
In a thrilling finale, they edged out their closest challengers with a late push to claim the trophy and progress to the area final next month.
Organised by the Rotary Club of West Fife, the event saw nine schools fielding eight teams and an impressive audience of more than 100 in attendance.
The young quizzers showcased their impressive knowledge over 10 rounds across a range of subjects.

With only three rounds remaining four schools - Crossford, Limekilns, Torryburn and Cairneyhill - were separated by the narrowest of margins.
However, the team of Matthew Warren, Crawford Chessor, Angus Clegg, Aaron Jarvill and reserve Logan Laing pulled ahead to clinch the championship with a total of 100 points.
Just one point behind were runners-up Limekilns and Torryburn while Cairneyhill finished on 98 points.
Crossford will now advance to the Rotary Area Final at Auchmuty School in Glenrothes on April 17.
