The first Scotland Hat Walk in Dunfermline took place on Sunday - and proved to be very popular with milliners and hat enthusiasts.
As previously reported in the Press, the Hat Walk was organised by Leanne Cairns, from Leanne Cairns Millinery in Kilmarnock, and Lisa Jones, from Off With Her Head Millinery in Fife.
The event was held in collaboration with World Hat Walk and was being held to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research.
Around roughly 80 people turned out on Sunday (April 7) to walk through Pittencrieff Park with their fancy headwear on display.
Leanne said: “It was very successful. We were very happy with the number of people that turned out.

“It was good, we said if we got 50 people we were happy, it was more than we were expecting.”
Some walkers even brought their dogs along for the walk, and a 14-year-old Bedlington Terrier called Isaac came along and wore his red tartan hat.
So far, the walk has raised £1,760 for Brain Tumour Research, smashing the fundraising target of £1,000.
Now Lisa and Leanne are aiming to make the Hat Walk an annual event, with plans to make it even bigger and better next year.
“And at least the sun came out for us," Leanne added. "It was a lovely day.”
