TICKETS are now on sale for the latest fundraising event for Crossgates Gala. 

The event, a Ladies' Fashion Show and Pop Up Shop, is an opportunity to shop for favourite high street brands at a fraction of the cost, while raising funds for the community at the same time. 

Sharing the details on Facebook, the Crossgates Events Committee (CEC), wrote: "We posted an open letter to advise of the challenges we are experiencing with covering the costs of a gala.

"Well here's your chance to help support us - our next fundraising event is a fashion show on 4th May at the British Legion in Crossgates.

"We need to sell 100 tickets for the event to go ahead - this is a great opportunity to raise funds as all the money raised from ticket sales goes directly to the gala - the company running the event is not taking any of the money raised."

It comes after the group shared last year's costs for the gala, and appealed to the community to support their fundraising. 

The fashion show will take place on Saturday, May 4, at the British Legion. Doors will open at 6.30pm with the show starting at 7pm. 

Tickets for the event are on sale now, costing £10 per person and includes refreshments upon arrival. A raffle will also be held on the night.
