Major disruption is expected in Dunfermline with roadworks starting in Townhill Road for 18 weeks.
The works begin on Monday and are being carried out by SP Energy Networks as part of a £3 million investment boost in its electricity network.
They're upgrading the Dunfermline to Netherton circuit on the network, replacing underground cables totalling 4.7km in length.

Temporary traffic lights will be in place on Townhill Road and will be in use until the end of the works, which won't be until the end of August / start of September.
These will move along the road on a rolling basis as the project progresses.
No road closures are planned and the works will be managed with temporary traffic restrictions.
